What is TACOS?TACOS (Temple Aliyah Community Opportunities and Service) is a new program at Temple Aliyah for students in grades 8-12, designed to provide teens with opportunities to take part in community service, both in the temple and outside of it.

What do TACOS do?TACOS earn community service hours together by attending monthly service site visits and by signing up for opportunities at the temple and beyond. TACOS meet once a month at Temple Aliyah to learn the Jewish values behind community service and once a month at a service site to give back to and get involved in the local community. TACOS are the first to find out about community service opportunities at Temple Aliyah and in Needham.
